Not In This Lifetime

The problem with love is you
I’m never good enough
So dark here from my view
You want to tame me
Then blame me
I’m not constructed for you
You’re out of your mind
No one owns me
Not in this lifetime

There is no turning back
When ice consumes my heart
Our love will forever be blackened
Blurred by resentment
Smothered in sorrow
Try to put me in a cage
You’ll feel the wrath from my rage
No one owns me
Not in this lifetime

You think there is a price
A price I pay for being me
That is an abundance of freedom
Of loving who I am
Of taking pride in everything I say
You want to just take it away
You want to confine who I am
No one owns me
Not in this lifetime

About JustOrdinary

Hello my name is Rachel…around here I’m best known as Just Ordinary. I created this blog page to share pieces of my life with you, the reader, also to share my projects, and writings. This blog page I have created is a collection of realty and fiction. Not everything I write pertains to me or my life.
