Though I did not lose my father yet, I fear I will, and yet we have not had a relationship for years. I feel like I've been preparing to lose him for years, and I know I'll be devastated. I'm adopted and I have been angry at God for never giving me a mother to have that special connection with ~ my adopted mother is very rigid and righteous. I'm in my 40s now and I'm still feeling childlike and scared and yet I'm very intimidating and powerful on the exterior. I also love to write, and have been only writing through others ~ I've been a legal secretary for years ~ and I don't want to do that now. I don't know what to do with my life.
